1 average-sized cabbage, cut into pieces
1 big onion, cut into small pieces
2 big carrots, cut into pieces.
2 peppers (any color), cut into small pieces.
3 pieces of celery, cut into small pieces.
1 can of diced tomatoes (14.5 ounces)
6 cups of vegetable broth
1-2 pieces of garlic, finely chopped
1 teaspoon of dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder (if desired, for extra health benefits)
1/2 teaspoon of ground black pepper
1 tablespoon of lemon juice (if desired, for a fresh taste)
Add salt according to your preference.
