1 pound ground beef
½ pound ground Italian sausage
1 small onion, finely diced
½ bell pepper, diced (I used orange, as it was what I had on hand)
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 garlic clove, minced
½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
½ teaspoon dried basil
½ teaspoon dried parsley
1 large egg, beaten
¾ cup Italian breadcrumbs
2 slices of white bread, torn into pieces
1 tablespoon milk
8 oz shredded mozzarella cheese, reserve ¾ cup for topping
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup marinara sauce, with an additional ½ to ¾ cup for garnish
