I brought this dish to a potluck, and everyone kept raving about how good it was.

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a large bowl, combine shredded hash browns, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, melted butter, 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese, and ranch seasoning. Mix well.
3. Stir in cooked, shredded chicken, followed by half of the crumbled bacon.
4. Evenly spread mixture in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
5. Sprinkle remaining shredded cheddar cheese and bacon over mixture in baking dish.
