Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
Place the ham in a roasting pan, cut side down.
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the honey, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, ginger, and black pepper.
Stir the mixture until the sugar is dissolved and the glaze is smooth.
Brush the glaze generously over the ham, making sure to get into the scored lines.
Cover the ham loosely with aluminum foil and bake for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, basting every 30 minutes with the glaze.
Remove the foil during the last 30 minutes of baking to allow the glaze to caramelize.
Once the ham reaches an internal temperature of 140°F (60°C), remove it from the oven and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
Variations & Tips
For a different flavor profile, try adding a splash of orange juice or pineapple juice to the glaze for a fruity twist. If your family prefers a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the glaze. For those who enjoy a more savory ham, reduce the honey and add a tablespoon of soy sauce for a touch of umami. If you have picky eaters, serve the glaze on the side so everyone can add as much or as little as they like.
